Neverwinter Nights 2 Equipment Database: Item Details
  Brilliant Spirit Essence
Base Item: Basic Crafting Component
Weight: 0.5 pound(s)
Resource Name: nx1_cft_ess_spirit02
Installation: Mask of the Betrayer
Special Properties
Weight Increase [Amount: -0.5 lbs.]

This essence glows brightly, yet erratically, with either the fragments of a powerful spirit or those of many weaker ones. Eight Brilliant Spirit Essences can be combined into one Pristine Spirit Essence by using the Shaper's Alembic on them. Spirit Essences cannot be converted.

Brilliant Spirit Essences are suitable for enchanting. To enchant an item, place it in the Enchanter's Satchel along with one or more Brilliant Spirit Essences, then use the Mold Spirit ability on the Satchel. Use up to four Brilliant Spirit Essences for more powerful enchantments. Any item can be enchanted to hold up to three item properties total, or four if the enchanter is of epic level. Enchanting an item with a property it already has will replace the item's existing property, whether or not the new property is better than the existing one.

Standard recipes are:

Weapons: Vampiric Regeneration
Armor: Spell Resistance

Helmet: INT Bonus
Belt: STR Bonus
Boots: CON Bonus
Cloak: CHA Bonus
Gloves: DEX Bonus
Amulet: WIS Bonus
Rings: Bonus Cleric Spell Slot
