Walkthrough

Your goal in this quest is to exterminate 31 spiders. All of the spiders -- including the final boss spider (#4) -- are CR 0.10, so the task should be pretty easy, even solo at level 1. After removing the spiders from the crypt, when you return to Berne Jorn outside, he’ll reward you with 5 gold coins.

Nothing interesting will happen if you complete the quest without destroying any of the sarcophagi, but if you destroy 10 of them, then you’ll fail the quest and you’ll immediately be teleported back outside.

2 - Closed Door

You’ll need to pull the two levers to the west (#3) to get this door to open.


3 - Levers

These levers control the door to the east (#3). Each time you pull a lever, five small brown spiders will appear nearby.


4 - Brown Spider

This spider is bigger than the other spiders in the crypt, but it’s just as weak, and it’s just as easy to kill.
