Got tired, so here is how to keep Drizzt items, (though WHY you want to is beyond me)

yawn, after seeing dozens of posts over the last few months about keeping drizzt items, I finally decided to go ahead and post how to do it.

once you clua console in drizzt items, or whack him, and rip him off, or just keep a dropped item of one of his freinds in bodhi, if they get level drained and die, this flag is set to "1" in your global variables.

specifically, the game puts in the global var

"bg1Drizztitem" and sets the flag to 1.

so before you emerge in athlankha, or emerge from bodhis crypt if you decided to whack him in the crypts...wonder what happens if you do that, probably lose rep..

use sk or "setglobal" command via clua console and set the flag to zero, hargell, or whatever the irritating guy is will not show up.

this should work, based on what I know f the game engine.

sigh, I leave the exact syntax of the clua console command to the reader as a intellectual excersize.

hint, teh romance clua commands use the set global command.

oh, if my file attached correctly, you should see my new kensai sorc uber char.

yes, her name is BUN BUN, a most appropriate name for the kensai sorc class, if you read john ringos new military sci fi book, "when the devil dances". not only is this a cracking good read, but bun bun is memorable.

bun bun is a sheva launcher, a mobile artillery piece designed around john bull's (real guy, idiot in politics, brilliant engineer)harp designs. it mounts a 16 inch smoothbore cannon, that fires a depleted uranium sabot discarding round at ORBITAL speeds, and the tank that carries this about half mile long cannon, is a TANK of about 7 THOUSAND tons, with treads that have driving wheels TWO STORIES tall. when the dart hist a solid object, the warhead of ANTIMATTER goes off, and explodes with the force of a tac nuke.

gee, sounds just right for a kensai sorc, eh???

bun bun refers to the two story painting( like those pictures of pin up girls you see on ww2 bombers) of a giant rabbit with big, brown floppy ears, carrying a swithc blade...

this rabbit has a serious attitude problem..

hokey, this should work, but not 100% sure. just 80% or so, so if anybody desperately wants twinkle, (why??? spectral brand is just so much nicer!!) try this out and post results.
