Black Isle's cRPGs

Surely, many older gamers would agree when I would say that these were the best thing this genre of entertainment has offered so far (well, relatively speaking, I'm only 19 and they're still my favorites). This, among other things, has inspired me to make this blog. To cut the long story short, I am planning on collecting and playing through (at least once) each and every game Black Isle has made. This doesn't mean that there are no good games anymore. Only that after playing a couple of titles like Baldur's Gate II or Planescape: Torment, I am more than convinced the others are just as good, and judging by the huge number of Fallout fans, possibly even better. The fact that I own only a modest Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop also contributes to my noble pursuit...
To start with, I'll list all the games that were made by Black Isle, bold the ones I own and put a plus next to each one that I have completed (whereas 2 pluses signify that I have completed it twice and so on, respectively). This list was taken from Wikipedia.
* Fallout (1997)[6]
* Fallout 2 (1998)
* Planescape: Torment + (1999)
* Icewind Dale + (2000)
* Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter (2001)
* Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter - Trials of the Luremaster (2001)
* Icewind Dale II (2002)
* Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (2004)
* Baldur's Gate 1998
* Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast (1999)
* Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn ++ (2000)
* Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal + (2001)
* Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader (2003)
Unfortunately, as you might have seen for yourself, although I own and have played almost every title, I haven't exactly completed each one too. Why? Real life, studies and other games got in the way. BUT, hopefully, I am to put an end to this - I'll stop wasting my time whining how I can't have a hi-tech computer and playing those games (that are basically far worse in nearly every aspect of roleplaying and gameplay) with all settings on lowest, when I can enjoy these games that I loved playing in my childhood. They bring so many memories back and give me this cosy feeling when I'm playing them with a cup of hot cocoa and some nice grub next to my laptop. Now let's start...
P.S. ...with Planescape: Torment. I have GOT to finish that game twice
.
P.P.S. Also available on the blog I've just created --> Sensory Stone, feel free to hop in and take a look.

Sorry for not posting earlier. I seldom hang out at this section. As for your link, I can't seem to access it. It said the site was removed (tried it on all three browsers: IE, Firefox and Opera). Do you have another link to your site?
As for the Fallout series, I am contemplating on giving it a go someday. I had too many things on my mind right now.Posted 09-21-2008 at 12:38 AM by DesR85

Haven't visited this place (GB) in a while...the trouble was I wrote this just around the time I had to do a lot of studying; after a while I'd forgotten about it and haven't been playing any video games since actually. I think I may have deleted that blog/website, figured no one would ever visit it
