Travel Issue

Okay, just wrapped up a certain quest regarding Bonegnasher Lair and I am trying to return to Old Owl Well. A message pops up about having an encounter along the way...then nothing. I'm stuck at BL.

the fast travel map works fine going anywhere else, but if I try to go to OOW, it does that. It also does that from other locations. Is there a way around this?

There are several encounters like this. In particular Grobnar and Casavir pop-up around this time.

Step 1: Grobner on your way to Old Owl Well.
Step 2. Old Owl Well and instructions/directions to Bonegnasher Clan.
Step 3. Bonegnasher Clan - finshed with "emisary".
Step 4. Cassivir on your way to anywhere (or basically out of Bonegnasher Clan map).
Step 5. Anywhere you want, though usually Eyegouger Clan.

I'm guessing it's step 4 you are having problems with, the typical solution is reload with some saved game on the Bonegnasher Clan map and try again. To help with this:

BEFORE exiting the Bonegnasher Clan Map:

1. Remove ONE party member.
2. Have all party members usummon their familiars or animal companions.

THEN exit from the Bonegnasher Clan Map. (..and then proceed to Old Owl Well or the Eyegouger Clan map.. or in fact any other map you want that's listed.)

I don't have Grobnar (he's back at the inn), and haven't even seen Casavir yet. I also don't know how to remove a party member without going back to the inn. (feels stupid) Also, the options to put them all in puppet mode seems broken too--I click the option, nothing happens.

I must have the buggiest version of this game ever.

Have you finished with the bonegnasher clan?

I think what happened is you didn't find the emissary??

No, I found him, the "emissary" and dealt with him as appropriate, then I attempt to exit, then the bug happens.

Actually you do have Grobnar, he just isn't in your party at this time.

Try talking to a party member.

(..usually right click on a character or portrait and scroll down to that option.)

I wouldn't advise putting them in puppet mode (or turning off AI).

I would advise having them NOT auto-summon familiars or animal companions. (..and making sure that they are not summoned.)

Hi, I have tried this,but for me it didn't worked out.
I have tried to change globals file, like it is advised [url='http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12510427&postcount=5']here[/url], the lair did show on the map, I see Casavir at the Sunken Flagon, but cannot add it to my party.
Do you have more advises?

Just the standard one:

You likely have one or more corrupted save game files.. go back to a much earlier saved file and try again (..with multiple saves along the way as usual.)

Save early, save often.
