Holy crap! It would cost a TON of money to buy though..and does it take movies like a normal digital camera? I looked at the pictures, but didn't wanna read anything, heh

The camera is actually analogue, according to the faq. And considering each picture is 24Gigs (after scanning), I doubt it can shoot movies at that resolution. ;)

I'm pretty sure the lack of terabyte cards is more of a 'we-don't-have-the-technology' thing than it is a 'there's-no-market-for-it' thing ;)

Could you imagine the price of a terabyte memory card? I saw a terabyte storage tower and it was ridiculously expensive. LOL, the thought of one memory card size scares me. :D

Back to the thread, that camera is pretty damn good. Where can I get one? ;)

Amazing quality

A terabyte of storage space isn't that expensive, you can build a small RAID of 200-gig HD's for +- 900$.

The quality isn't as amazing as the zoomage abilities. Our eye can't really tell the difference between 3MPix and 3GPix when the photo is the size of an A3 sheet of paper. What I was really impressed at was the way you could see barely discernable images in detail after you zoom in :)

Yeah, I didn't even SEE the people on the 2ed picture untill they digitally zoomed into them!

That's what I meant. The quality of the zoomed parts is amazing :)
