Chapter 2 Battle Squares

Thanks for helping prieviosly. I started playing battle squares and think its cool as all hell. I am currantly working on rank five, just wondering about the north side outside the temple, should I leave and come back to finish the squares later when I'm higher level? Can I come back to the temple later in the game? Outside on the north west side their was a group of douplogangers and I think I'm supposed to meat someone in Kuldahar. Should I stay or should I go? And can I come back? Any feed back would be helpfull , thanks

Yes, you can come back later. I did the higher levels of the battle squares with a higher level party. I don't think your party is ready for them at this stage.

I'd agree with Ambiorix. You're deliberately introduced to the "game" at a stage when it will take a lot of cheese (if not outright cheats) to win; so it makes sense to return, later, when your forces can turn the monsters summoned up into small red (or, in some cases, green) tile stains.

All bloody to hell, Icewind Dale 2 Rules. Those battle squares is really cool. I've already moved on to the wandering village, thanks and my Helm keep his watchful eye ever to the vigilant one.

p.s.
So I can come back to this spot. How high were you when you finished battle squares?

Remember, the last chance you have to come back to finish battle squares is before going to Kuldahar. You will likely be level 13-15 at the time, depending on your party composition.

Note that if Nathaniel call you on your favor, you WILL have a chance to revisit the temple...but battle squares will no longer be available to you.

Actually, you have one more chance later. Spoiler: When you finish Dragon's Eye and try to go on to the Fields of Slaughter, you will first be sent back to the Ice Temple, giving you one last shot at the squares.
