Imalias first mission - bugged?
So, I finished the first mission for Imalia, planted all the cameras, activated the cameras per the computer, snuck out, the quest log says I´ve finished the mission ok... but as soon as I get back to the warrens, Imalia *****es me out for having blown the mission! All the while *in her very room* there´s a newspaper about the model getting it on with, um, a Llama. What´s the case here? Seems pretty much like a bug to me, but did I have to do something different, maybe? I didn´t even use a discipline in the building, what could have been my mistake?

How to complete this mission successfully (SPOILER)
I've heard other people complaining about this. It's sort of buggish. The trick to this one is that you have to plant all 3 cameras - one in the living room (not the kitchen, like Imalia says), one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom, then login to the computer in the bedroom. If either person in the apartment says "Hey! Who's there?", you've blown the mission, even if they didn't find you.
Best way to do this one -
If you have Auspex, use it - so you can keep track of where the two occupants are.
One other tip - make sure you have all 3 webcams in your inventory - some people have acquired them when their inventory was full, and one was dropped to the floor in Imalia's place.
With sneak on, wait till the girl is in the kitchen and the guy is in the bathroom (he goes to the bathroom about every 20 seconds, it seems - I don't know what he's drinkin'), then go behind the couch in the living room and plant the first webcam.
If the girl starts to come back out, you will need to go back to the hallway, but if she doesn't - wait till the guy goes to the bathroom again, then sneak into the bedroom and plant the 2nd webcam by the bed, then go hide behind the screen.
Wait there a while - it may be a long wait - and the guy will make a phone call, visit the bathroom again, etc., then eventually go out to the living room and sit on the couch. When he does this - sneak into the bathroom and plant the 3rd webcam, then sneak back to hide behind the screen.
The computer is behind the screen. Use it to check the cameras.
Wait for the guy to use the bathroom again, then sneak out of the apartment.
If anyone said, "Hey, who's there?" you've blown the mission, regardless of what your log says.

Damn, this **** is totally bugged. I just tried again. Got into the hotel, started sneaking to her appt. opened the door, got in, quick saved. From that point on I didn't save anymore to make sure I got through the whole mission without being detected or reloading anything after the quick save I made after entering her flat. I even turned my sound especially loud, so I could here if someone noticed anything, and the definately wasn't the case. Is there any way I can succeed in this freakin mission anyway?
Hmm... is it worth losing humanity to get the quest done?
pff humanity, u wont lose that much of it in the corse of the game anyway for u to go frenzy every sec (unless u kill the innocent of course), frenzy doesnt play such crucial role here in bloodlines - not like it was in redemption, plus when u get frenzy its totaly cool , dont worry about it man
i also passed this quest without being noticed but the nosferatu chick said i blew it, so i just killed her :/

Bump!
Bump! Stupid, stupid Imalia.
Just bumping this topic because I'm having the same problem. I'm 100% stealthy and not getting caught, no one is saying anything, and I'm not even getting past 80 on the meter nor getting red on the meter.
Yet, returning to Imalia gives me a failed quest.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

This is a new chapter in lame.
I used blood buff to get up to 9 in sneaking. I managed to go through the whole quest with a GREEN meter the ENTIRE time. No one so much as changed their posture and sure as hell didn't say a thing. My meter never got above 50, not even when I was moving beneath them on the first floor. I'll say it again - I was GREEN the ENTIRE time.
And yet, Imalia: YOU IDIOT! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?
Ugh, this quest is just going to have to stay active until the patch comes out.

To complete the quest successfully, enter "notarget" in the console before entering the building. Plant and activate the cameras, and enter "notarget" in the console again when you exit the building. This is the only way I've found to finish it properly (though I haven't tried it yet with a character using obfuscate, which may work)

The "notarget" command makes the PLAYER(!) invisible to NPCs. But, every effect the player causes is NOT be invisible to NPCs. When you are invisible (as a result of stealth or the notarget-command) and you open a door in front of a NPC, he will notice that someone is there and you fail the quest.
If it is totally impossible for you to finish this quest because of lack of skill or you are using the "Quicksave" exclusively (like me), do the following:
1. go to the cemetery in Hollywood
2. open the console
3. type: FindPlayer().SetQuest("Imalia",5)
This will solve your problem.
