Dual classes and strongholds

Hello all,

I have a Cleric Mage for my character, does this allow me to have a stronghold?
If i can have one then would this allow me to have the Planar Sphere, because of my Mage 1/2, or whatever the Cleric would have?

You get the first stronghold that you qualify for. For example, if you were running a multiclass fighter/mage, you'd get the mage stronghold if you finished the planar sphere quest first, or the fighter stronghold if you finished Nalia's quest, first.

I have completed the Planar Sphere quest i think, and i have gone back around it and tried to find some way of haveing the apprentice mages...the ones who make the items.
Is there some kind of notification that a place becomes your stronghold?
Have i got to do something else first?

When you complete the Planar Sphere, speak with the knights inside it and agree to send them home. Then a mage should approch you and suggest an alliance with the cowled wizards, and if you accept.. the sphere is yours. From there its pretty straight forward.

When you get your stronghold an entry in your journal will notify you that you have one.
