I'm sorry to say, I'm bowing out for a while. It's getting to a point, that I'm tired of the complaining on sym stories. I just got an email from my brother that is leaving the board, because of it. He said he enjoyed having fun with, because it took his mind off work. I happen to agree with him. But all the whinning has gotten to him, and now to me. If anyone should whine it should be me. In two weeks I get to find out, if I have cancer or not. This is a place to have fun, not to go putting sad faces everywhere. So I'm leaving. I want to thank everyone for their friendships. You all take care.

Darkpuppetmaster: It will be sad to see you leave. It will be even sadder, however, if you leave in spite of a couple of instances in which tempers flared, outbursts of emotion erupted and an occasional harsh word was flung in no-one in particular's direction.
Your right, this is a place to have fun. It's a place of many things though, we each bring our lives into this message board and enrich it in our own ways. A quote I've used most likely once too often over the last couple of days is this:
The soul would have no rainbow, had the eyes no tears
Now I've seen a few instances in the sym stories which could have been seen as complaining and whining. Hell, I can't help but think it was I that pushed the stone that started the avalanche with my four little key points. That was at a point in which I had just got swamped with the tremendous response for the thread and couldn't keep up any more. Like any writer, we're all a little tempermental at times and can often say and do things that upon re-examination, probably weren't the wisest of things to do. So personally, I apologise to both you and your brother if my drama queen style hissy fit has disuaded you from staying here and posting.
These outburst aren't always bad though. It's by expressing these feelings that we allow others to see how we feel about certain things. This can be a productive thing too and can be used to better the story, better the message boards and perhaps even better the way we approach similar situations in our daily lives. Yes, we're all quick to temper when it is seen that our control over any situation slips from our grasp like an freshly oiled fish. It's what makes our lives spontaneous and often what fills our lives with rainbows.
If you are determined to leave though, I wish you all the best with your life. Never give up hope! You may find out in two weeks time that you've got a whole life to live. Even if the news is bad, you've friends here and undoubtedly everywhere that will wish you all the best.

I should be the one apologizing to everyone.I'm having a really depressing day today(don't ask why) and I've used the board to vent out my frustration.I'm sorry that KramoR left because of me(I admit,the meaning of my posts in the story thread was twisted because of my lack of reasoning when I'm depressed,and KramoR took it seriously ).
@Kramor (if you're still reading this)-I was planning to let loner be the sheriff.I guess I was just peeved that you didn't at least wait until I leave before mentioning about the deputy opening.Somehow my anger at the time got the better of me

DP and Kramor, if you must leave, let if be for more important reasons than you had a little tiff with someone and now want to take your toys and go home. Brink, whining doesn't become you... actually I don't like it coming from anyone. And again, a bit of a tiff is no reason to pack your bags. I have no idea what Vehemence has done, but he has already called himself a drama queen, which doesn't sound like he has been quite himself either.

OK, This was not what I wanted to read 1st thing upon waking up. DP, You know my thoughts have been and will continue to be with you, during the whole testing procedure.

Darkpoet, I'm sorry to hear you are leaving and more than sorry to hear you have two weeks of agonising waiting for your results.
I have no idea what these story writing and whining trouble is about, so I can't say anything else than that it seems like a pity you and your brother have decided to leave because other people are whining.

This all comes as some what of a shock, i will miss you guys, i hope the test comes out as you would wish it, having had two of my relatives come down with brain tumors in the last year i can appreciate the problems that arise, i wish you well....there is very little more i can say without sounding half a$$ed, until we meet again in the journey of life, DP keep your chin up.....
