Most times just after I started a race the swoop would rise above the track and not be affected by anything below. While it helped against obstacles, none of the speed-ups worked so I can't get any kind of a good time.
Has anyone else had this kind of probelm or knows of a solution?

If you hold the 'jump' key (Space on PC) down when the lights are changing until the race starts, then you will start on the ground.
Problem solved.

. It's just a pain trying to remember what functions to use. Space bar, mouse buttons and directions
.
Do you (or anyone else) know of any more permanent solutions though so someday I won't need to hold the space bar down as well?
