Well in cave (south rd)

help lol...
on the first stage of the south rd theres a cave that contains a well.....
i think u are supposed to swimj through a tunnel at the bottom of well, but i keep running outta breath.
i have tried everything i can think of to do this but cant pull it off.
is it even possible or just some kind of sick wind up lol.
any help apreciated loads.

Do anything you can to boost your constitution. Items, potions, etc. Swimming back is automatic, so don't worry about that. If all else fails, don't worry about it. From what I remember, the reward on the other side wasn't all that great.

... I had a problem getting thru too ..

I tried a con potion and a potion of speed and made it thru ...

Did you try taking off your armor?

I realize I'm playing a Ranger with a high Con, but unequipping the armor made the difference between not being able to get through and being able to.

You need to find a book on a dead body in the near side of the chamber, before you can complete the quest on the other side.
