God-descended party NPC?

Post by fable »

I think I read a thread here a few weeks' back about a new NPC mod. She was another godspawn, but not Bhaal's, neutral alignment, and had a dexterity of 25.

Just last night, I got back a new, clean drive with XT on it, and decided to run BG2, again. I figured I'd try to find this mod, but can't locate the tread--if I'd indeed found it, here, and not somewhere else. Anybody know which mod I'm referring to? In advance, thanks. :)

Just out of curiosity, what is XT? (Perhaps you meant Windows XP?)

XP. Very long night, reinstalling stuff, and looking at a bunch of saves and garbage from my crashed drive.

**spoilers re: Chloe**

Yep, that's Chloe the Yr'kai kensai. Overpowered almost to the point of cheesiness (19 strength available at start :) (Waukeen's Promenade)). Nifty swords from the begining, one is even troll-slaying (fire damage)! I have started a game on high difficulty with all the tactics mods and a pure kensai is a real saviour. Chloe is like a little aspirin pill for the improved Illych mod (he-he): since she is strategically located in the Chateau, you can get her to help you with the Illych madness. Definitely helps ease the pain (just don't let the little spellcaster dude cast a Deva, cause with all those "magically open" doors, you'll be running around like a maniac for a long time :) )

I guess I'll try to find the thread Fable mentions ~~ despite her over-loquaciousness, Chloe is a powerful and enjoyable NPC IMHO.
