The skinning I can't help you with. Sorry. For the disciplines, use the cheat console to sell XP until you lose a discipline, and then buy back another. There are a couple of threads on this forum that describe the procedure in detail. I think the most thorough was posted by Anamixander. He would be the one to ask.

It was not the skin but the Unoffical patch maybe.
All you have to do is after you speak to Jack the first time and before you feed, then add you Disciplines.
Wesp5 added a check to Jack's dialogue the first time you talk to him, to see if you cheat.
First you do, Giftxp # where # is how many xp points you want.
Then do, vstats buy (which ever Disciplines you want) you can have up to 5 Disciplines, if you get 6 or more you HotKeys 1 - 9 will stop working.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

Right click on your desktop shortcut and add a Space and -console after the " (quotation mark) so it looks like this.
vampire.exe" -console
Then once inside the game hit the ` key next to the #1 key to open and close.

Fair warning, Milady, don't change your characteristics until after you have completed the tutorial. If you change them before that, it bungs things up. Wait until you reach your Haven to start tweaking things.

Welll remember my list of Custom Skins ansd such?
It has most all the commands and fun things to do.
I suggest you kind just browse maybe the first sentence in each paragraph to see if that paragraph intrest you, if not try the next.
As I mentioned in this thread how to give yourself XP and buy any Discipline, well the same XP works for any skill, too.
Also in my Custom thread is a list of all the books you can buy and people whom teach you skills for free as a reward.
So you can plan out your charater as you build them. i.e. if you can buy 1st and 2nd level of Shooting and Computers and also find the Sneak book accros the hall, which will give you up to 2nd level.
You can skip using any points for Shooting and Computers and put 1 point in Sneaking.
Get the book accross the hall and buy the 4 books from Tripp, you can Threaten the BlueBlood guys for almost more than $200 in cash and jewels with a 2nd level threaten.

Bringing up the console in-game has been known to cause problems. So the best thing to do is:
1- Esc out of the main game into the in-game menu.
2 - Save your game, in case everything goes pear-shaped.
3 - If you have a US keyboard, hit the key to the left of the number 1 key in the row above the letter keys. If you have a UK keyboard (like me), then you need shift and that key.
4 - If everything is set-up right, that should bring up the console. If not, look at the instructions above.
5 - Enter the code(s) you want.
6 - Do NOT close the console using the "x" button (this also has been reported to cause problems). Instead just minimise the window as you would anything in Windows.
7 - Go back to your game, and all should be well. If you have changed any stats, just go into the character screen to check it has all worked.

Well did you not read my post on how to open and close it in this thread?
"Right click on your desktop shortcut and add a Space and -console after the " (quotation mark) so it looks like this.
vampire.exe" -console
Then once inside the game hit the ` key next to the #1 key to open and close."
It seems very strait forward.

Well that means you have your .exe's hidden.
It doesn't make since that would cause you to lose your Savegames thou.
I can tell you how to change that setting, if this is your computer and you do not delete things randomly on your computer.
It will expose all files and names correctly but if you are confused by this, wouldn't want you randomly deleting system files on someone elses computers.
It is not complicated, just need to use good judgment about deleting files, if you want to turn on "Show Hidden File Extentions"

A bit more detail:
Right click on your desktop shortcut and click "Properties" from the list that pops up. In the resulting window, there's a Target box. At very end of the text in the target box, outside the quotation marks, add a space followed
by -console
Click OK at the bottom of the window and start your game by double clicking the desktop shortcut. You should see the console open before you reach the main menu. Close it and start your game.
To open the console once you're in the game, press the ~ key. Enter whatever cheat codes you like, then press ~ again to close the console. Closing it any other way while in game is incorrect and will cause problems.
Oh yes, and I do exist. Just haven't been to these forums in a while.

OK, I get it, and I've read the responses, but I fear they may not be clear. So, in order:
Right-click on the shortcut you indicate above, and select "Rename" from the drop-down., then change the name to remove the " -console" that you erroneously put there. Press enter. Now the name of your shortcut should be "Vampire the Masquerade - bloodlines".
Then right-click on the shortcut you indicate above, and select "Properties" from the drop-down. Click on the tab labelled "Shortcut". Then click in the text field named "Target". Hit your "End" key and that will take you to the end of that field. It should contain this:
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe"
Add a space and -console to the end of that line so that the field reads:
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console
Now when you are in the game, the tilde key (~) will bring up the console. You should also note that when the game starts up, the console is over the main menu, so you have to click the 'x' icon at the top-right of it to close it down.
Now, you should be able to raise the console in the game, and do such damage as you deem fit.
