Altahe is located in the Acheron system of the Styx Theta cluster. If you've already completed the "UNC: Listening Post Alpha" assignment, then you'll be coming here to investigate the "UNC: Listening Post Theta" assignment.
1 - Arrival
Joker will drop your squad off in the northwest section of Altahe's operational area.
2 - Samarium Deposit
Survey this Samarium deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Rare Earths" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.
3 - Gold Deposit
Survey this Gold deposit to get one step closer to finishing the "Heavy Metals" section of the "UNC: Valuable Minerals" assignment and to earn a reasonable amount of experience and credits.
4 - Asari Capsule
A successful recovery effort on this capsule will uncover one of Matriarch Dilinaga's writings (one of ten writings needed for the "UNC: Asari Writings" assignment) for some experience and credits.
5 - Listening Post Theta
When you approach this station, a dozen Rachni Soldiers will emerge from the pits surrounding it. Blast them with the Mako's cannon, then head inside to do some investigating. After dispatching two more Rachni Soldiers and several Rachni Workers inside, you'll discover an Emergency FTL Comm and a Terminal in one of the back rooms. These will reveal that a ship carrying the Rachni came from somewhere in the Gorgon system of the Argos Rho cluster (an unidentified space facility, in fact). This will trigger the "UNC: Depot Sigma-23" assignment, but only if you've already completed the "UNC: Listening Post Alpha" assignment. If not, then you're headed to the planet of Nepmos first.
Once you're finished here, loot the various containers (an aid station, an upgrade kit, a wetware kit, two malfunctioning objects, two storage lockers, and two hardened weapon lockers) and head back out to the Mako.
6 - Rachni Pits
Position yourself a safe distance from the pits dotting the landscape here and fire away at the Rachni Soldiers and Rachni Brood Warriors as they emerge from them.
7 - Crashed Probe
You know the drill. Bypass the probe's security and loot away.
