The guys at UGO have compiled a list of their top 50 favorite characters from the various Star Wars books, comics, video games, and television series that have contributed to the rich universe since 1977. Unsurprisingly, HK-47, Darth Malak, Canderous Ordo, and Darth Revan from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic all made the list. A bit about our favorite assassin robot:
HK-47 was a Hunter-Killer assassin droid built by Darth Revan near the close of the Mandalorian Wars. Revan gave up the droid shortly before his capture by the Jedi and return to the Light Side of the Force. HK-47 moved around a lot after that, shifting from owner to owner and killing more than a few of them himself. He was eventually discovered and purchased in Anchorhead on Tatooine by the man who had once been Darth Revan. Reunited with his former master, the droid aided in the infiltration of the Star Force superweapon where Revan killed his former pupil, Darth Malak. HK-47 is unique among droids for his sarcastic personality and his penchant for referring to all biological organisms as "meatbags."
