Walkthrough

Your objective in this quest is to defend a Kundarak warder named Haverdasher while he seals an altar in Eyegouger's basement. To start the quest, just talk to Haverdasher (#2). That will cause him to walk into the next room and to start performing the warding ceremony (#2a). At that point, three medium monstrous scorpions will appear in succession, and you'll just need to kill them before they can kill Haverdasher. After the battles, Haverdasher will walk to the exit (X) and disappear, and that will complete the quest.

If you return to Kalimnal d'Kundarak outside of the quest, he'll give you 5 gold coins for your efforts.

Sometimes the first scorpion that attacks Haverdasher (#2) will be a scorpion boss named Blacktail. You'll know that Blacktail is coming if you walk into the room and see a treasure chest in the corner.
