I've submitted this to Black Isle as a bug... hopefully their next patch will fix it...

Unfortunately I lost 80 days of gametime... going back to an earlier saved game to see if I can get Lassal to respond correctly.

he won't talk to anyone in my group.... e just stands there...

I surrounded Lassal and hit him with about 5000 damage without a response.. definately a game bug..

anyone know a workaround so my game can continue?

okay.. so it is a game flaw...

can you think of any way around it? I am open to using a cheat or tweak here (instead of starting over my game) it was quite a while back when I began this quest.

Thanks for your responses tho.. I at least now know I am not missing something obvious...

I just walked the entire two levels of the vampire lair... no vampires... for some reason I don't get the same cursor I did for the other coffins for the south coffin and cannot stake it (cursor doesn't change to the sword). The only "living" thing left in the area is the Lassal creature in the main ...

I only found two coffins to the left on the top level.. are there more?

the boat in the lower level was empty...

unfortunately.... he kept on killing me, so I sent some thugs in after him (after I recovered from a save) to kill him...

He never had a chance to escape...

I went into the spiked room and walked around (painfully).. no one there...

I think I toasted everyone before they had a chance to speak... jeesh.

What a flaw... give monsters the advantage just in case they might want to speak to you...

This may have screwed the game up for me... and have to restart... any suggestions... none of the vamps said a ...

okay.. that makes sense for the second quest... but Bohdi's lair...

what am I missing to get rid of the evil there... beyond killing all the people and staking the two vampire beds?

I'm stuck on the Bodhi's lair quest... I've destroyed everything in the lair and popped 2 coffins with stakes. However, when I go back to the grand guild master, he acts as if I did not complete the quest. Note that I killed everyone and did not engage in any dialog ...
