Problem whit levelin up

I would like to know what is the reason that my sorceror cannot advance to level 18 he has 295000 exp and needs 3000000 at level 18. my exp doesent go over 295000 what is weird, does enybody else have this problem

could it be it that i started the game over whit my level12 sorceror and imported him ...
