what's this backstab you're talking about? maybe you mean sneak attack? never played a scoundrel or guardian, these class skills? and stasis...i'm a little lost on that.

after fighting bastilla, killing jolee/juhani, meeting with the other members carth runs off. anyway to hunt him down? he left with some nice things...lol...and i want 'em back! can't seem to find him anywhere.

-been havin some trouble *finding* rulan in the lower shadow lands area on kashyyyk. i went to all the areas, talked to all the NPC's, and couldn't provoke any into being the shape-shifter, any pointers?

-i can't go back to dantoiene (sp?) since i've gone too far in the story-line. there's a hit ...

many thanks Big Brother. seems i need to learn a bit more about the rolls in the game. again, this will certainly help me when i finish my light-side and neutral characters (plus beating the game with my character of the moment).

ok...about 15 minutes after i posted my last post i tried (was my last try before i returned the game and/or XBOX itself) restarting and reloading my last saved game. got my dark-side character, did all i needed to after malak, and it worked?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!
i have tried the same ...

i tried 3 different starting types (ie: good, bag, neutral)

restarting the game...numerous times

transfering saved games

going through teh game, no side-quests
