ok, i'm actually a computer chowderhead, but the system usually runs great for me.
amd xp3000+ 2.2
1024 ram - 2 nifty 512 chipsets like the ones advertised in cgr
nvidia geforce fx5900 ultra
80 gig hard drive (only 20% used)
viewsonic flatscreen
windows 2000xp pro

this one's weird. from the start menu, my computer locks up if i try to load a game. but if i use start new game i'm fine. i then have to go thru until it's time to get dressed. then i can load one of my saved games. also, if i die in game i'm returned to the start menu so i have to go thru the same ...

thanks for the thoughts. turns out he was done with wookieworld and stuck on dantooine. it was a bug that just finally went away and he's off and running.

he found the starmap. he wants to go and get the other 3 maps but he can't take off.

i haven't started this game yet but my kid is playing. he says he thinks he's done everything on the planet but he can't get his ship to take off. what's he missing?
