sorry guys, i figured it out and it wont let me delete my post, wordpad kept adding 2kb to the file size even if i opened it, made no change, and saved it.. prolly a formatting thing.. when i made the change through notepad everything worked great.

How do I open the protos.tab?

I am guessing its inside one of the data files. I can't find an editor that will open them

Where can I find the edtior?

Where can I get the extractor or Editor to pull out the protos.tab? Or is there a place I can just manually download the protos.tab?

I wanted to make a char and go through the game solo on ironman. I wanted to start him with scather. I can't seem to find a character editor or any means at all to add this item to a character. Does anyone know of an editor or another means to do this? Thanks.
