Thankyou!! I happened to have a stone to flesh scroll in my scrollcase. That did the trick.

its a good idea to save your game before you try to write a spell into your spellbook. If it fails, you can reload your game and try to write it again.

I have this battle on the 4th level of dragons eye, the lava level, and one charcter always gets petrified by Zil T'Y and is dead. Resurrection wont bring them back. Is there any way to recover a petrified character or prevent them getting petrified?
