I too loved the "ABC for Barbarians". Is is in the fighters guild (blacksmith wing) in Ald Rhun, if I am not mistaking.
Very nice.
Have a look at it

Infact, I must admit, I have been playing MW for only a month, and I am still very happy with it, though, I find it a bit static, NPCs that just stay there waiting for you to talk to them, no real fights between guilds (thives guild and Morrantong guilds hate eachother, than why don't they kill one ...

I was thinking, maybe, it would be nice if you could make a guild of your own, or build up an army, and with that, conquer a city/castle, or defend your HQ, or become the king of some region, and order people what to do to make the reion work properly (but this last idea is too much sim-city like ...

Somehow. There are nice quests, I have to admit that. But the lack of innovation sometime is a real pain in the a**. For instance the Thieves Guild quests. Tell me one quest where you really have to sneak, similar to the sneaking in "Dark Project"/"Thief". There are ...

I was re. to the thread "things I don't like about Morrowind", and I was just saying that MW has a large variety of quests: searching, killing, sneaking, stealing, get this over there, bring me this, find me that... etc.
Do you have other quests in mind?
If so, post them here: maybe we will see them ...

Yup, and you should remember, that the quality of the quests and the depth of the characters is what Morrowind doesn't has. ;)
And being a RPG doesn't justify having a dull and crab combat system. Not today. Not after Gothic, which has great graphics, a good plot ...

Alright, here's my second part.
What really suck ( and it was the first thing that really disappointed me) are the fighting animations and the meele fighting at all. Three ways of hitting an opponent in a very unrealistic manner, no manual blocking, the animations ...

Uh, one thing, not from a gameplay point of view, but from a graphical one, is that while 3rd person view is good only to walk around, but not for sneaking or fighting (for instance), 1st person view is flat.
Since 1995, 1st person shooters had bobbing, that made 1st person view more realistic ...

Well, I haven't played Morrowind long enough to tell exactly what I like and don't like, since now is pretty much fantastic. The only thing that came to my mind, by now, is that NPC are very much life-less (as a lot of people in this thread already said).
What bugs me (actually I think it is a ...

Hi, I wondered on how I can make people turn another way, so I can loot something.
I am talking about the third thief guild quest, where I have to get dwemer artifacts. I don't have chameleon spell, my invisibility is not that strong, and Ra'Zhid never stops looking at me.
Apart from killing him ...

the prblem is that I cannot even get to kill a rat with any weapon, without risking to get killed.
Just to be more precise: I finished to quest in Balmora to get rid of the rats for some lady. I killed three, but saving every single hit, and reloading hundreds of times.
I'll try to look at my second ...
