I'm happy playing a Fighter in BG1.

I recently acquired BG1, ToTSC, BG2 + ToB, so I want to play the whole thing from being a Level1 Fighter through to whatever the ultimate conclusion is.

Obviously, for BG2, with higher-level characters, playing a non-spellcaster would be missing out on a lot ...

I am planning to acquire as many Tomes as possible - already found 1 in the Gnoll stronghold, and I gather there will be quite a few more around.

I will also try to gather a good selection of items/weapons to carry into BG2 with me (eg Ring of Wizardry ...

I'm planning on taking a character through BG then to BG2 and I had a couple of queries:

I want to develop a fighter with strong bow skills, take him through to BG2, then dual-class him at around lvl10 to a mage.

Obviously there will then be a fair period before I get my Fighter skills back ...
