maybe you didnt put enough feedback on.... try the 'assination' rogue skill as that is always a backstab.

try running Kotor on 800x600 resolution with everything on highest, ie Anti-aliasing and Antistrophic filtering and it will look much better than anything on higher resolutions with less performance hit

yes you are correct in my intent, but to get 'use any item' i would have reached maybe spellhold and the thought of having nothing on my body ...

but it is a bit strange that while the kensai class is inactive that my thief wasnt capable of wearing armour... im pretty sure my old kensai/mage could wear gauntlets and armour though hmmmm.....

okay i originally made a kensai and planned to dual class it to a thief at level 9 as i imagined a kensai/Thief level 20+ would be immensely powerful because i can wield items such as Holy Avenger and actually wear armour. (using the use any items skill of course)

lol 25 dex isnt that bad considering she has 12 str, but the reason im not using her is i cant stand single-classed Kensai, you cant even dual her....

edwin only ever fight with minsc and that doesnt happen in all the games for some strange reason, otherwise he doesnt really conflict with anyone. Even if in a good party, as long as you maintain a reputation of less than 18 then edwin happy (as is the case with most evil npcs).

why isnt the name 'edwin' mentioned in this thread at all?? he is no doubt the most powerful mage npc in SOA & ToB as he has like twice as much spells as every other mage plus a high constitution. In fact i cant imagine bg without edwin lol. My advice: everyone who is using someone like aerie or ...

no there is actually penalties to your thief abilities while wearing any sort of armour, ive seen the table with the exact details before but i cant remember where it was :p but im sure the heavier your armour is the more penalties you'll get, ie elf chain will receive more penalties than a shadow ...

is there some way to get Minsc and Edwin into the same party without minsc/edwin killing eachother or minsc attacking me? I think it would be great to use the 2 most powerful npcs in bg1 in the same party but its not working

get yourself patch 1.03 if you havent and also i think the 9600XT models generally lags quite a bit on Kotor.

i personally find pazzak a bit slow in making me credits, but then maybe its because ive just got up to tatooine? lol anyway what is the highest amount of credit you can bet in a game of pazzak and with who?
