If you just ask Enserric sometime during the converstion or say something like "I have no need for a long sword" then you get a list of options of what he could be. I believe he can be a dagger, short sword, long sword, or greatsword.

Where do I get the patched version???

When you are in Chapter 3 hell you can look into the crystal and gain xp as many times as you want, if you want to watch the video a lot. I just wanted to bring that to your attn.
