Good to know I'm okay. It's sort of stupid not to be able to use the highest level spells at the end of a game though.

Nevermind my stupidity...all I had to do was click on Baram (attack) and they minions would open the gate in their zeal to slaughter me.

Oddly, the people in the temple (and pretty much everywhere else) were also hostile to me. After that the game started shutting down repeatedly. Had to start over after 25+ hours of gameplay. Oh, well.

I have been reading about Wizard character creation and one of the recommendations is to lower your CH to 6 since it is not very important for a wizard. But the setup only lets you go down to 8 (excluding dwarves?) so is this a typo? Thanks.

Also, does using familiars and/or summoned creatures reduce the experience I get from killing opponents? Is it feasible to go without a henchman the ...
