in the final area of the game i cann't rest and as such i cann't regenerate spells is this right or is it abug ?

i have played BG2 and i was wondering should i play BG1 and ToSC ,or is playing BG2 would harm the experince ?

i have played BG2 and simply loved it beyond beleif and the question is should i play BG1 and TOSC or simply wait for the xpansion and NWN to come out and buy them ??!

i am thinking that the graetest thing BG2 gave me was a emotional realease from my ****ty life , to fight dragons to save pretty maidens and to save the soul of one own all these things where else would i have done them but in BG2 .!!!

after i finish the asylum i go to the copper cornet and there i see him die after he hasnot been in my party i try to find his heart for the illmatar temple but his heart is not there ??

i cannot memorize 9th level spells is that normal or is there a way to do it ?
