This post seems pretty split between PS2 and PC versions of Baldur's Gate.

Ok, the quest reward fixes convinced me

Not that I think all those other fixes are really necessary (but then I haven't gotten out of town yet), but I have downloaded it anyway.

I was a bit surprised to see the installer compressed with rar, last time I tried using winrar (4 years ago) it ...

I personally am only using the Atari patch 2.0.

This CoT thing looks like it modifies the original game, and allows you to enhance your character more than was intended. Being a 3rd party patch, you can't be sure what exactly is in it.

Unless someone has a compelling reason to use a 3rd party ...

At the bottom of the screen there are the pages listed there. The numbers change as you move around.

At the top there is a search feature, so you can see if the topic your question is about is already posted.

I don't use their firewall. Turned it off as soon as SP2 was installed.
And I still have the issues.

Now I have to decide if the improvements in wireless networking ...

Anyone seen this problem? I've seen it twice now.

I guess it really doesn't matter since it is on exit from the game. I already saved. It's just annoying.

I'm not sure why you said "apart from Champions of Norrath", but it is very similar. If you don't know, it has a few issues with the game locking up. If you do get it, save often.

There's not much out there that is multiplayer on the PS2 other than BG DA and BG DAII and Champions of Norrath that is worth playing. I liked Gauntlet Dark Legacy but it is really more like an arcade game than an RPG.
