You get a better sword if you use three meteorites of the same color.

Thanks for the help everyone. I saved just before I met the Beast and
coated my sword with the spectre oil. (Had to go back a few saves to get it)
I used group at first to kill most of the other "dogs" but that only took 2 or 3
hits and they were down. Then I switched to heavy and used "ard" to ...

I just started playing the Witcher. I'm having a hard time defeating the Beast
in chapter 1. I use the "group" attack and "swallow" potion. Just can't seem to beat him. Is there anything else I missed or overlooked? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I saved the "saves" file from My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Saves
to a cd and then transfered them to the My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Saves on the new pc. Worked fine.

I had this problem too. The only way I got through was to let Tavorick die.
Just take your time going up to save him. The game ran fine after that.

I've had the same problem from the start. I can only play using 1.02. Really sucks. Nothing much you can do I guess. Planet neverwinter may have the 1.02 patch.
