I was wondering what the deal was with shapeshifting. I couldnt find much in the manual about it. Des your AC change when you shape shift? What about AC and THAC0? What are the advantages, of say Jaheira shapeshifting to a brown bear vs. a black bear? Is it orth it?

OK, Im kind of new to this game and RPGs in general. The problem: I tried stealing something from one of the stores and got caught. I didnt realize that the storekeeper would become my enemy until way later. Now I cant interact(buy) anything from him because he has a red circle beneath him ...
