im stumbling my way through this game for the first time and am frequently getting the "assertion failed at" blah blah, even with a full install. can anyone suggest a solution?

Actually, Tom, I dont think the problem is with RAM. That size i quoted refers to the size of the actual fix file i have used. My system is not a beast by any stretch, but is well above the minimum specs for Planescape: Torment. If you dont know this game, i suggest you check it out. Its awesome ...

PsT Assertion Failure
It is likely that this is an old issue, but I have found little info so please help.I am running the 2 disc version of planescape torment with the 248kb fix (v 1.36) and every 20 minutes or so i get an assertion failure message which indicates that there was a problem on D:\ and the game crashes ...
