I found a way to get some easy exp. all you need is the fallowing

Weapon with EXP AUG.
Shield Spell at max level(4)
lots of will potions

When your chasing jack of blades to all the focus sites, there are minons that keep responding. On the last focus site(the fourth focus site) cast the Shield ...

Well actually the dolls are just something to collect after you have Thunder, Red Scarlets, Briar Rose, Maze, Twinblade, and Whisper hero dolls take them to the teacher in south bowerstone and he will give you a Jack of trades hero doll.
