Hi, I played Vampire before when it was released and since it's such a great game I wanted to play it once more.

I installed the 1.2 patch and the latest True unofficial patch (appearantly not changing the game but fixing more bugs).

However when I start a new character it moves sideways in 3rd ...

Firearms useless? Have you even tried them (at) all?
The key is to upgrade firearms and perception ASAP so you aim improves.
If you don't do this than don't expect to own with guns no. But if you do combined with a good character choise than firearms own melee and has much more versatile gameplay ...

Personally I wouldn't play Nosferatu as your first game. I think the game is more designed for normal clans.
Unless you really like sewers of course.

What can you do with/in this haven?

True, because Brujah also has Celerity it's possible to combine melee and ranged. But unfortunately not all races can do that, which is probably why a lot of ...

Didn't have any problems with this quest.
One clean headshot with a Brokk (large ammo clip) and a Celerity once in a while.
Just keep running from gate to gate and don't kill anyone in the middle/that isn't near the gate.

Haha so true, I also re(quick-)loaded 2 times because they kept missing even though I was standing right in front of them. :D
Worst gun and no skills = bad combination. Later on you can perfectly hit targets far ...

I’m not saying melee is totally boring or something.
But you have to admit it’s kinda standard and repeating after a while. I mean, if you see an enemy; with melee it doesn’t really matter where you stand and you go directly at him like a savage beast. ;) While when you’re ranged you ...

Personally I prefer ranged weapons over melee. Because each new ranged weapon you get will be totally different (range/accuracy/reload time/rate of fire/...) while melee weapons pretty much stay the same besides different looks and more damage...
Plus guns are a lot more versatile which increases ...

Had the same also. I looked *everywhere* for other entrances and only after 5 minutes or so I finally was able to open the door.

I don't get to keep my old skills and have Malkavian special skills now but they are not too shabby either.
Is there however a possibilty to change those skills to whatever ones you like?

Seems to do something. But my special vamp skills are gone, and no others to spend points in. Plus I'm not a character anymore but some kind of weird signs.

Celerity is the best in my opinion.

It's not like instakill everyone around you but a lot more fun because it's versatile.
You can use it with melee, ranged and even sneaking...

Currently I only have level 3 and I can already dodge bullets. It's really a great skill for a ranged character because ...
