Yes, it seems to have been overhyped a lot. It has a few things going for it, namely the no-subscription model and the somewhat innovative questing system, but other than that, I don't know. I guess the idea of skills being tied to the weapon used is kinda interesting as well. In the long run though ...

I think they will still be enjoyable in the endgame, and these events don't usually take up much time anyway. Usually about 4-5 minutes if you are close by when it starts. I guess if you are max level events will give you gold or karma instead of xp, so you are still motivated to do them.

1. Hmm, a very generalized question. What's fun for one person might not be so fun for another ) I am personally having fun so far, although only been playing since Saturday.

PB forum section?
Hello, I was just wondering if its possible to make a separate forum section for Piranha Bytes games. After all there are some major RPG titles there - Gothic 2 and NotR come to mind, and the Risen series isn't too shabby either. Thank you!

I will play when I can actually enter my product registration key...
I ordered a Digital Standard edition from Origin and entered my key that came with it, played fine during the grace period. Now the game asks me to enter the key again, but when I try to, it says the key has already been used. From ...

I'm playing a Level 12 Nord warrior and sometimes I feel the exact opposite. Mages scare the crap out of me (except for the frost kind). Groups of warriors I can annihilate, but throw in a couple fire mages (by far the worse of the bunch) and I am sweating bullets (and reloading more often than I'd ...

Have you seen the master destruction spells?
I can appreciate the fact that magic is much better at dealing with large packs of enemies due to massive aoe capabilities, but it seems like a power attack from an insane slow 2-h. axe or hammer will still beat any spell in terms of raw single-target ...

Magic users underpowered?
Anyone else feels like magic is quite a bit underpowered in the game, esp. in comparison to a full-enchanted/smithed 2-hander fighter type? I mean, you can get by on Adept difficulty with a mage, but if you want to go higher (Expert and so on) you feel kinda gimped.

I feel stupid for asking, but how? Mouse over it and press the button?

@Gavain - It's possible. But I think it depends on the type of spell. For example, I leveled Illusion very nicely by casting Muffle. It seems high mana-cost spells work best for leveling. On second thought, Muffle is kinda an out of combat spell, so maybe you're right. But anyways, you can find an ...
