I've got exactly the same problem here. the weird thing is , the game worked about 4 weeks ago. I tried to reinstall and put on the patches had a little fiddle with the graphics settings but it just crashes everytime i start a game. Hi im looking around for Iron Mines but i cant find any , can anyone help as to find the location of a good source of iron. Help appreciated

i voted here for durlags tower but only because i really liked the chessboard battle. i remember it being really hard though i only did it once

Righto, can a ranger/cleric use a longbow then?

I prefer darts anyway they are kicka$$ soloing a mage with them now

longbows do have a faster firing rate and many different types of arrows though, bullets are pretty limited.

i wasnt aware that a f/m/c could use a longbow...

surely a f/m/c has too much level restriction.. could only get to about level 6 i guess in each class which would give you level 3 spells??

is there any need for charm animal at all? squirrels dont seem to be all that powerful...

just read a thread on another forum on gamebanshee about a solo character 'no save no reload' just wondered if anyone here had tried it?? how far they got??

yeah this is what i thought but i swear ive tried so many times the hit point max roll has gone from 13 to 12 im level cleric4/ranger4 now and i still cant roll for 13 i just stick with 12 :|

i dont understand the rules well enough to come up with an intelligent response to your question. but as far as i know , characters that start with 13 hit points can go up 13 hit points for every character level. or ones that start with 14 can go up a maximum of 14. or a mage with 6 health goes up 6 ...

i think you have to do the tour to get the rune stone off the guy that gets flamed by the final demon guy. or he might survive and give it to you before he runs away. i dont remember. anyway , i think you need the tour

no i was just hoping to improve the animal shapechange ability and improve it a bit. could have been fun. dont suppose you have any ideas on how to improve your stats while in polar bear form (or whatever thebest shape change ability is)
