The jeweler asks, "Head to King's Way yet?"

1. I'm ready to go. (already did it)
2. I had a few questions (Gargoyle quest, but already killed him)
3. No. I'm on my way.

I can't continue the con. because there are only 3 responses. I'll start the game quick and add the 3 lines.

I completed killing the guy on King's Way. But, I go back to the jeweler and he keeps asking me if I've gone to King's way yet. There is no, yes, response. Is there any way I can bypass this? I've gone back twice and can't figure it out. My quests say that I have completed it, but I believe I still ...
