The trouble with cut scenes (i think) is that they are not exactly supposed to be compatable with the Source engine on which the game runs.

HL2 has no cutscenes, so this is something the developers at Troika will have had to have do themselves. It is very true that they could have done a better job ...

I tried playing it with 256MB of ram, and it just ain't happening.

Each area, given time to warm up, doesn't run to badly, but the real downfall comes at the loading times. It took me forever to load an area, even if i was only moving through to another area. Very frustrating.
