The best rapier, imho, is the Rapier of the High Road, which is a keen +1 weapon with an extra 1d6 acid damage.
I'd rather get a main-hand weapon with a higher enchantment level to hit harder opponents (I'm currently only in Ch2, but I guess there are opponents who require +2 or even +3 weapon to be ...

At the bottom of the screen, there is a taskbar with 10 buttons: 4 for camera movement, 4 for camera pitch. The last 2 buttons on that bar have a red circular-shaped arrow on them, and are named "rotate object clockwise/counterclockwise". Those two are the ones you're after...

Bug with two-bladed weapons?

Hello all,

Perhaps it's just a small glitch in my game, but I noticed a bug with double-bladed weapons: characters don't seem to get the -2/-2 penalties normally associated with Ambidexterity, Two-Weapon Fighting and using double-bladed weapons.

I noticed this on Daelan:
Level 13: BAB +13/+8/+3 ...

Studying scriptures is great *if* you're a wizard. I'll probably play a ranger, so I guess I'll have to "find some shadows to hide in while I do some...eurm...s**t" ;)

But what if, for some weird reason, you have to leave during a game? This can certainly happen is 24/24 game worlds like Argyle...
How do you go about telling your co-players you're off to bed, and how do you roleplay leaving them?

So this means that you get additional attacks with a cumulative -5 penalty (but never lower that a BAB of +1). This would mean that a high-level Warrior could take a few levels in another class without loosing an attack?

e.g. a Fighter 10/Rogue 10 has a BAB of +10/+5 for the Fighter class and +7/+2 ...

questio: attacks

question: attacks

While looking at some screenshots, I noticed a weird thing: a Rogue 11/Fighter 5 seems to have the same attacks as a Rogue 16. (see this screenshot ).
I always thought you added all attacks and bonuses from your different level...
Am I wrong, or is this another ...

Animal Companions

Hello all,

Does anybody have some info about the Druid and Ranger animal companions? (HD, attacks, skills,...)

Thanks,

If you played ToB, a 20th level character got his behind kicked quite hard... ;)

I've heard that even lower-level characters are quite powerful in 3E...Anybody with experience knows that?

Aren't druids restricted to their own weapons (club, staff, dagger, sling,...) ?

Otherwise, I might consider taking a druid level too...

So I won't be using two short swords ;)
Took a look at the rapier, and it seems close to RP too :)

I edited my (temporary) character, and this is how he looks:

Enaloindir
Human Male Ranger
3rd level

12 Str
16 Dex
12 Con
14 Int
12 Wis
10 Cha

Skills:
Hide (6), Move Silently (6), Parry (6), Spot ...

Back + Couple of questions

Hello all!

After a "few" months of absence (got hooked onto Medal of Honor while waiting for NWN), I'm back again.
NWN night is not yet out here in Europe, but I'm already planning what I will use as a character.
During this stage, I've run into a few questions:

1) Dual-wielding: the description ...

But then you were powergaming/roll-playing instead of role-playing... Ahh, the eternal struggle ;)

This method is quite like the "Player's Option" rules in 2nd ed. AD&D: each class started with a number of points, and could buy abilities and restrictions from a list. Here, this list was class-specific (so no backstabbing wizards or invisibility-casting thieves ;) ), and a number of things could ...

Two Strongholds

To get the two strongholds, do this:

- Talk to Nalia in CC and accept the quest
- Go to the De'Arnise keep
- Talk to Nalia again
- Enter the keep and kill Torgal
- Go back outside but do NOT talk to Nalia [/i] again; talking to her ruins it all!
- Do all appropriate quests for ...
