That is useful, but I was hoping that I could control the character with a free camera.

I'm sure there is a way to do it. If I find an answer, I will post it here.

You could be more specific about the level you are on. I played the game thru only once, and I seem to remember that the Werewolf can't die. I could be wrong.

Camera Control

Is it possible to have the camera rotate around the character without the character turning with it? (Third person view)

If you've played Splinter Cell or Ninja Gaiden, you'll know what I mean.

The default camera is fixed to the back of the character so that you never see his face. I would like to ...

I have answered my own question!

The answer is that the console commands for joysticks are slightly different between Half-Life 2 and VM Bloodlines. The main difference is that Half-Life uses an underscore while VM Bloodlines does not. You can compare the two joystick.cfg files below (see step 3 ...

Whenever you use cheats you have to be careful because the game was not designed to play with cheats. For example, there may be times when you are supposed to die.

If you fall off a ledge, you can use "noclip" to fly back up.

Joystick Configuration

Has anyone used a joystick for Vampire Bloodlines?

I have my Xbox controller configured for Half-Life 2, so I would think that it's possible.

If anyone knows how to set it up, I would appreciate it.
