On the PC version the AI does a better job of moving in to attack... but like other said, no matter which version you play, you should micromanage your characters yourself.

If you're playing on Hard or Medium difficulty you have to micro.

I'd go for Scout so that you can get the Repair skill as a Class Skill.
Avoiding spoilers, I'll just say that there's a particular use for Repair for your PC that involves one of the party members you acquire. Your PC must have a decent Repair (other party members having it won't help).

Yes, you have the option to kill one of two people to go on to the next "stage" of assassinations.
So if the Jedi temple Dantooine has already been destroyed (when you're captured by the Leviathan, the evil admiral tells you he just attacked Dantooine), then you can always opt to assassinate the ...
