I would love a storyline set in the Dragonlance campaign. I loved the books by margeret wies and tracy hickman (i hope i got their names right ) It would be awsome to take part in the war of the lance

well, i'm soloing so i don't think that my problem

i'm playing SOA with my multy class fighter/mage/thief. My pick pocket ability is at 100%... so why can't i steal anything from shopkeepers?? i have never succeded. they always catch me, no matter what i try and steal, even if it's just a bullet.
Is this a bug?

if you are going to take any lawful good char, take keldorn, he is a lot better then mazzy, she's ok because she has hast and strength as special abilities, but it gets annoying having to spnd time using them whenever you enter a battle. Anyways, Keldorn with Cromsyre ROCKS

I agree about the whole "go here and kill this" comment. I felt like i didn't have much controll over what i was doing, and not a lot of side quests.

I really liked the ending though and felt like it neatly wrapped up the saga... i even felt a little sad to see it all end ::sheds tear::

i also thought that TOB was sort of short, but compaired to most expansions it was about average lengh. Plus i also spent about a week non stop playing it, so thats probably why i finished so fast :D

Anyway... i think i'm going to go strait through and start a char in bg1 and play him all the way ...

The way i think of it... if it were real, i would be able to just take him with me and not boot anybody, so i don't roleplay with the valygar quest

well, i guess i solved my own seravok problem i said that i dual wield crom fyer and blackrazor... so my alignment changed to nuetral evil... ok, now heres the thing, i'm still an undead hunter, not a fallen palladin. i'm pretty sure i should be fallen.
anyone know why?

ok, 2 questions that i hope have not been answered a million times before... sorry if they have :eek:

First, my paladin was having a romance with arie, and in the drow city, i slept with phere. In my other game i didn't and she got pissed, attacked me, and i didn't get to finish the drow quests ...

I try to roleplay, but i can't roleplay evil characters in BG. The only way to ever really gain any exp is to do the good things. The way i look at evil characters is that they are only looking out for themselves and trying to make themselves better. Helping dryads is a good deed, but since i gain ...

MUCh harder, he has this regenerating ability that drove me crazy... me (kensai mage with saff of the magi) keldorn (with cromsayer) minsc with a +4 sward, and arie with staff of the ryne +4 were all beating on him (i got rid of his protections) and it took almost 4 min, pluss i lost arie and minsc ...

yeah, thats what i do, i even tried once to play a multy class fighter/mage and tried to max out every ability that i could, i set my strength to 10 and planned on buying the girdle of hill giant strength soon... i just didn't know how long it would take to save up the money

well, i don't know if all that much skill is needed. the problem isn't the spacebar though. The more time you have to consider what you whant to do, the more the game becomes challemging to your mind, not the speed of your fingers. Anyway, whether it is challenging or not... it is LOTS OF FUN :D :)

doomed? geez, youd think that after 3 dragons, iranicus about 50 vampires, 20 deamons, and a crapload of other monsters, people would learn not to mess with you.

I just recently beat the game, but my computer has this strange problem with it's sound card, ao i wasn't able to hear the end cinematic. Can anyone tell me what the guys in the robes sitting around the table (i'm assuming they are cowled wizards) are saying to each other?
