I suggest you take a look at the Fallout series, Planescape: Torment, Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Psychonauts (Adventure/RPG), Grim Fandango (Adventure) and Alpha Protocol. At least that's all I can think of by starting at my desktop.

I ...

Game recommendations.

I very nearly lost all my will to game and didn't play anything in a long time. I recently found The Witcher by looking around a bit here on the site but now I've almost finished that so it'd be great if you guys and girls could recommend some other games for me. Don't want that no gaming thing to ...

My party stands were you enter the area, at the place were you meet the first cultist. They are dead.

The army stands outside the house were the cultists are summoning the demon.

Argh. I can't kill them. They swarm me every time and my poor party don't stand a chance. I've tried with more fireballs and cloud kill. Jaheira casting entangle at the same time. Nothing works. There's too many of them.
I think my mage has too few spells. This is what I get for always using the ...

Well, I doubt that, but I guess it's possible.

Maybe it is MY fault, for doing something....strange... :(

Anyway, I'll see if I can find some time tonight to test som strategies. :)

Fable:

I don't know much (if anything) about classical music but I like horror movies so:

Considering Orff: Is he known for anything else except Carmina.. and it's position as theme music for Omen? Is Omen his 15 minutes of fame?

Yes, I've tried a few times but I don't think I've been very focused. more pissed, really. :D I've tried with fireballs, but only the fireballs didn't work, as I said earlier. I'll try out some of the ideas I've gotten here later. :)

That happened to me in BG too and my problem was that one of the keys on my keyboard had gotten stuck or something like that. I noticed it when I tried to make a new char to see if a game would work that way. When I tried to name the new char my computer decided for me that his name should be ...

Nope, you don't have to kill the Silver Dragon. She's a good dragon, so you might want to kill her if you're playing an evil party though.

As for the other question, I don't have a clue. Haven't played the expansion yet.

Herself, thank you very much. :D

Maybe there's some way for me to host my save game for you people to download. :)

For some information, my party is made up of:
My fighter
Minsc (as tank)

Enlighten me... How on earth does this happen? (If those are game guards, I suppose you wouldn't want to kill them if it messes your reputation.) If not, maybe get a couple invisibility potions, disable AI, move your party out to the corner of the area, and get someone on boots of speed to do ...

An alternative solution to fighting the army is to bypass them. Give Dynahir the boots of speed. Make Dynahir invisible. If there is a way to get downstairs without starting a fight do so. Go to the back of the room and use a sling to kill the acolytes. They won't fight back. Then speak to the ...

My advice would be get everyone but Immy out of the way. Give her the boots of speed. Buff her up as much as you can to make chances of hiding better.Get her to cast cloudkill, then run till out of sight. Hide in shadows and wait, preferably somewhere out of sight of the enemy just in case. Wait ...

I've tried fireballs but then they all got angry and swarmed me like angry ants and I didn't stand a chance. :D
But then I only used Dynaheir so maybe I should try using a staff of fireballs with Imoen too...

Fighting an army

I have this problem:

http://draconiz.herno.net/ToSCprob.jpg

I got the idea from VonDondu to try to battle the army instead of trying to solve the problem (or maybe both).
Now I ask all players for ideas how to beat this army! :)

Give me your best shot! :D

They will still be there if that's the only saved game you have.

I usually make two saves. One hard save and one quick save. My quick save's the one with the army and my hard save is before I kill the demonknight and he wasn't that much fun. :D

Are you sure you can't think of a way to kill all ...
