If you mean new spells, it works the same as SoA. If you mean do you get the opportunity to erase spells already in your book and replace them with different spells, then the answer is no.

On the floor to each side of Lum's machine are three colored triangular tiles. Three before the gate to the magic golem on the east side of the machine and three before the gate leading to the torch room. Lighting the torches in the same configuration as these tiles opens the door.
