Sorry for the useless thread!

As I mentioned elsewhere, I still have a dialup connection. I was downloading the patch, which was to take about 4 hours. With only 27 minutes left in the download, I got knocked offline. Is there any way to pick up where the download left off, or do I have to start all over?

I just want to know if it is because they can't zip the file for some technical reason, or if they just don't think anyone uses dialup anymore.

Either way, it stinks. I have 2 hrs, 25 minutes to go.

Does anyone know if there is a reason that they don't make the patches available as zip files? I have dial-up, and it is going to take 4 hours for the 1.3 patch to download.

I absolutely CANNOT get past this room. If I will send someone my saved game, is there anyone who would be willing to do this for me?


This stupid puzzle has me almost ready to just uninstall the game. Its ridiculous.

Problem solved, in a backwards kind of way. I installed the 1.1 patch, hoping that would help with the problem. Instead, it made the saved game inside the temple useless. I am in the Naga Temple, I've gotten the gold key, jumped over the trapdoor, found Valdane, opened his cell, talked to him, and nothing. After I hit "continue" a couple of times, there are no more options in the conversation tree. I've checked my inventory, and i still just have an empty vial. Why ...
