Thanks guys although i figured it out myself earlier today :)

Dont know why that CD message disapeared but suddenly it worked.. strange it is..but what the heck..it works :)

Looking forward to playing again..aahhhh

ok..it extracts the files..and i extract the exe and patch file to main dir and it should work? or what?

I need to get something straight.. the self-extractor extracts a executable and a file named PATCH000.DAT - are these supposed to be copied INTO the fallout man dir or should the exe be used to start some update-thing?

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the UK version and have downloaded the UK patch as well..
And no..haven't started a new game so no savegames will be messed up :) just found the game on my shelf and thought..woah..this been a while..let me play again :)

I have tried reinstalling 2 times and that ...

Can't install patch 1.02 - error message!

Hey all!

Since everyone is recommending that i should install the patches i will.. but then there's this major problem..cant install it!

I have downloaded the 1.02 patch but when i run the exe it says "Running Fallout 2 requires a CD".. Yup.. i know..thats why i already have put the cd in my drive ...
