If the ads have not changed, scroll to the top to find out what MoP means.

SPOILER - MoP is Mists of Pandaria, which is the latest expansion to World of Warcraft.

P.S. - I generally refer to WoW as "World of Borecraft". :p

In the first Drakan game, the main character is determined to get her brother back after he gets kidnapped. She finally finds her brother at the end, and frees him from being possessed by the evil villain. At that point, her brother loses balance and falls into a bottomless void and the heroine ...

I don't judge games by the endings. I've finished games that have had short endings, bad endings, or cliffhangers(it's possible to finish a game that has all three like Drakan: Order of the Flame).

P.S. - I enjoyed Drakan: Order of the Flame despite the previously mentioned ending.

The other characters in Demonstone have limited ranged ammunition. Your best bet to take out the spider is to use the Sorcerer. The other characters give tips on when to block, so after a block you should attack with range. You'll want to have the Sorcerer using fire attacks on a later level.

I don't think I could come up with 5 bad games unless I stretch the time frame back to the Atari 8-bit games. I'll leave off Atari, and say that one bad PC game that I bought, played, and completed was Descent to Undermountain. If there replies from other members in this thread, I expect the ...

New versions of the MM6-MM8 patches have been released. I put in notes for the previous two versions of MM6 from his changelog.

New in version 1.11.2:
[-] Finger Of Death spell didn't give experience for killed monsters.
[-] My bug: Dead monsters could sometimes move in version 1.11.
[-] My bug ...

I'd go with a Thief. Although the Ranger does have elemental and cleric spells, they only get Expert level for them. The Thief will be useful for the whole game rather than waiting for a promotion to make the class effective.

The low overall Metacritic score is based on the always-online DRM as well as launch issues. Not every place has a stable Internet connection, but it is the fault of the buyer if they expect the game to work well under unstable connections.

Scores for anything are the most meaningless measure of ...

As much as some old-school gamers might like to see a tactical turn-based RPG, that ship sailed a long time ago. It's a matter of marketability, although I don't see "grimdark", "innovation", "romances", "DLC", and a number of other marketing words necessarily being an improvement.

Today's games ...

It has been a bit hectic for the last few months after I learned that Cox removed the Personal Webspace. I first added Dropbox as a location to host the files. I then got help from Taluntain at Sorcerers.net to host the web page content there. I have updated my signature to point to the new site URL ...

ATMA is outdated, most people are now using Plugy. I remember getting a modified file to allow multiple instances of Diablo 2 on the same machine. In my opinion, this is far better than relying on editors.

The Infinity Engine games(Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale to name two) offer skill specialization. I recall Divine Divinity having a plethora of skills that could be advanced, and the hack and slash Sacred 1 game let you choose and advance eight different skills. Since I included Sacred 1, I might as ...

I checked another location, and found that you can stack bonuses from artifacts/relics with normal items. So if you have an item that regenerates spell points or hit points, any relic or artifact with that bonus should double the effect.

Without using turn-based combat, five minutes in game time does not take long. In the early part of the game, regeneration is more noticeable and useful. When you have hundreds of spell points or thousands of hit points, items with other attributes and bonuses become more useful. This is especially ...

Bones' Combat Guide to Might and Magic VI has detail in regards to chance to hit.

In regards to statistic breakpoints, the previous website has the information under Basics->Breakpoints.

IIRC, all Speed does is to increase Armor Class and possibly determine the order characters can attack.

The ...
