do i need to get that prophet quest?? and if so, where do i get that?

anyone know where this quest end is?? i got the quest on amen'ia or something like that, from the mage vendor, where is this cave to be able to witness a tribal ceremony???

ok why is it, when i start a new multiplayer game, i am back in starting town AND with everything i had when i logged out and all quests done to that point, BUT i am in the prison again?? like i just started a new char??? help out plz. All the quests and idems i got in my log are still there AND ...
