Definitely one standard, one short, and what color depends on my mood. Make sure you have master 2-weapon fighting, and you have no penalty to hit for the standard saber, -2 to hit for the off-hand shorty.

With a double-blade, you have less chance to hit than you do with your main-hand using a ...

If you're thinking of the characters as just a bunch of pixels, then you're not immersed in the game. In which case, why play at all?

Looks like most people do light side, as do I. I find myself feeling grimy and depressed playing the dark side, which means it's no fun.

The whole game was darker and weirder than KOTOR. I agree the ending should have been handled better. But it did lead me to think of some things, about what Kreia was saying: how the Force has its own will, is seeking balance, and uses people for the purpose. Thing is, it used Kreia, too, as we know ...

I don't think DS point sacrifice will solve the problem. My current character is near maximum LS, made the mistake of telling the Handmaiden that he thinks Visas can be saved, and is in hot water with her. It's a serious jealousey situation.

I'm going to try some of the things that are supposed to ...

OK, fixed it. It was like the bug when you talk to Brother Kanker, where the dialogue goes round and round. You have to repeat a couple of lines and eventually the right one presents itself.

My problem isn't with the Becket scene, but with the discussion in the Last Round. What do you mean you went around it? Did you just go to the taxi and find you could go to Griffith Park? Haven't tried that yet . . .

The sewer entrance that leads into the Warrens is across from the Italian restaurant. Go across the street from the restaurant and enter the nearest sewer entrance. A short tunnel takes you to one of the main lines, and directly across that line is a door. Two doors are accessible after going ...

Yes, the Beckett scene happened normally.

My only dialogue options at the LR involved telling about the LaCroix/Ming Xiao alliance.

Bug at the Last Round?

This has happened twice now. I got the Enemy of My Enemy quest from LaCroix, I went to the Last Round, and -- I can't talk to either Damsel or Skelter about the Camarilla-Anarch alliance. The dialogue option isn't there. I can't find out where Nines is, and so can't go play footsie with the werewolf ...

Found it. Yes, it went to Yukie, and she gifts it after you help her kill the demon.

Nice place for it IMO. (Whew.)

"Removed illogical placed flamethrower and Ra blade from Hollowbrook.
Chastity will have the Ra blade and a crossbow can be found nearby."

No. Chastity has an ordinary katana.

So there's no special katana in Hollowbrook any more???? I LOVE that sword! Where is it!!!???

POTENTIAL SPOILER -- Museum

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to do the museum quest without killing anyone, while playing a Brujah or Toreador.

The problem comes when you're hacking the computers to turn off cameras and alarms. There is no way you can do this without being spotted, especially the one to turn the ...

It took several reloads, but it finally fixed itself. It's not that the bomb didn't go off, but the elevator stopped halfway up. Several more tries, and it went all the way and kaboom.

It also stopped halfway the first time I tried to go up myself afterwards. But -- all's well, and I finally ...

The Ivory Bow DOES come across the big sleep. It's one of only a few items that do: all major magic items and Exquisite items. Christof has to be carrying it on his person. If you have someone else using it, that person needs to drop it and Christof pick it up before he has his little chat with ...

Kill Lacroix: Defective Bomb!

Urg -- wouldn't think a Ventrue would be so bloody cheap. Anyway: killed the faux-Lacroix, took the astrolite, went to the elevator, armed the explosive, hit the button, jumped off, waited . . .

Waited some more . . .

And some more . . .

No boom!

Reloaded, tried again, same result.

What's going ...

That sounds like a more direct route than the one I've taken, Jmima, and solves the problem I've had repeatedly, viz: getting to the observatory with the power on, only to have Mutt break into the observatory through a doorway and hop up on the platform before I can even get the damn doors open ...

Escape from Plaguebearer Sewers

Well, the walkthrough doesn't make this sound hard, but --

I killed Kanker. Not too hard once I decided to go bearhand. Problem is, now I can't get back to the surface. There's a lever that opens the grate that was behind me when I fought him, but following the sewers after that, I come to a place ...

Fat Larry

OK, so I'm an idiot.

Where is Fat Larry? He's supposed to be somewhere in downtown but I can't locate him at all. Really would like some better armor and a better melee weapon.
